DIRECTIONS TO CONQUERORS
The Conquerors meets in Downtown Orlando Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. at:
First Presbyterian Church of Orlando
Edington Conference Center
(Southwest corner of Roaslind
Avenue and Church Street)
Third Floor, Sterchi Conference Room
I-4 Construction Update: In following the below directions and maps, please be aware that currently, because of I-4 construction, you cannot turn off of I-4 going east onto Anderson Street. Intead, you should do the following:
If coming West (South) on I-4: Get off at Colonial (Highway 50), turn east (left) on Colonial, turn right (south) at Orange Avenue, go down several blocks to Anderson, then turn left (east) at Anderson. Rest of directions are the same.
If coming East (North) on I-4: Take a left exit to South Street, go east on South Street to Boone, turn right on Boone, then turn left on Anderson. (Note: the right turn onto Boone and the left turn onto Anderson will be your only options at those intersections, so it'll be hard to mess it up). Rest of directions are the same.
From I-4, go east on Anderson Street. You will cross Orange Avenue and Magnolia Avenue. Turn left at Rosalind Avenue (it's one way going north). You will cross South Street.
When you get to the corner of Jackson St and Rosalind Avenue, the entrance to Edington Conference Hall is on the left (west) side of the street, about mid-block between Jackson Street and Church Street.
(Edington Hall is on the Southwest corner of Rosalind Avenue and Church Street, but the entrance to the building is 1/2 block south from that intersection. The traffic on Rosalind is one-way north, so you can't drive south from the intersection of Rosalind and Church.)
When you go into the building, go to the third floor, turn right, and go all the way to the end of the hall.
(If you're on Orange Avenue downtown, you're going one-way South. Keep going past Church, Jackson, and South, then turn left on Anderson, go through Magnolia, turn left on Rosalind, and proceed as in the above paragraphs.)
Parking: there is parking on the nearby streets. It's free after 6:00 p.m.
Additional Parking: when you are at the intersection of Jackson Street and Rosalind Avenue, the Orange County Tax Collectors office is on your right before you cross Jackson (the Southeast corner of Rosalind and Jackson). If you turn right on Jackson, you can park in the parking garage attached to the Orange County Tax Collectors Office. The guard at the Edington Conference Center will stamp your ticket. From this parking, you would walk out of the garage, turn left (west), go west along Jackson until coming to Rosalind, cross Rosalind, then turn right (north), cross Rosalind, and proceed along the sidewalk (in the same direction as the one-way traffic on Rosalind) about half a block to the Edington Hall entrance.
